The engineering staff at Steinmetz is eager to assist customers with a complete range of services, from problem-solving and part conception, through material selection, prototyping, testing and production.
Steinmetz Engineers utilize the latest technology when aiding customers with new product development and mold design. We work with the latest Solidworks solid modeling for both production and mold design. Stereo lithography (SLA) models can be made directly from the electronic files within days. This allows for rapid production of both prototype parts and casting mold patterns. Electronic files can also be downloaded to machine centers for automated tool path generation for making prototypes, patterns and molds. Steinmetz has the capability to design and build test equipment in order to evaluate new product designs.
